After watching the film Veronica Guerin and performing countless hours of research, I have come to the conclusion that the movie is generally correct. I think that the events are portrayed correctly and that the directors and actors did their job well of telling the story. My job in the project was mostly to find the information about the history about Ireland and the biography behind Veronica herself. I thought it was very interesting to see where she had come from, how it shaped her future, how she approached her job and the way she pursued her stories. The history of Ireland was also very shocking to me,  so I was able to see why Veronica would want to investigate the criminals and the issues that were making Ireland this way.
