I really enjoyed this project more than I thought I would. I researched and wrote on the major frames and themes in Veronica Guerin and found that for the most part, the frames of the film were actually quite close to reality. I learned a lot from my research. Veronica herself was pretty much the shiz. I think that she would be a good hero for anyone, especially for us as journalism students. Although I talked about the allegations that she was a bad mother, this really doesn't matter. People never would have said that a man was a bad father if he had gone to Iraq or something and been killed. That is mostly just people picking on her because she was a woman, and because they have certain views of women's roles and Veronica didn't fit into that role.
